 Heat Trace's
series 2000 self-regulating heating cable is well suited for the high
wattage demands of preventing ice build up on rail systems. Offering
the highest output Factory Mutual approved heater, the 2000 series heat cables
can be used for the following:
- De-icing switching points
- De-icing 3rd rails
- De-icing railcar components
This heat cable is rated up to 40 watts
per foot at as low as 110VAC. Other voltages up
to 600VDC are available.
