In
cold environments, thermal insulation alone cannot prevent pipes
from freezing or ensure efficient fluid flow. Heat Trace self-regulating pipe heat trace
cables provide the additional heat required to maintain
proper fluid flow. The self-regulating feature of the heating cable maximizes efficiency
and minimizes operating costs.
Ask the competition if they can say the same: The 2800 series of heating cable employs the same materials of construction and production process as the industrial grade 2700 products. From the nickel-plated copper buss wires, to the 100% virgin conductive core material, to the patented heat treating process, these heating cable products are made to last. The smaller construction of the 3 and 5 watt per foot heating cable simplifies installation on smaller diameter pipes.
150°F

185°F maximum exposure temperature
Available in both 120 volt and 240 volt versions.
Like all self-regulating heat trace cables, the 2800 can be overlapped and minimizes energy consumption.
The need for thermostats and the potential for burnouts are eliminated.

Therma-LinX Heating Cable is available in pre-terminated lengths of 5, 10, 20 and 50-100 feet.
Custom lengths are also available.
